What a day. I've just spent $600 fixing my car. Oaaarrrgggghh! I haven't found 'real' job and I gotta spend that much money. Now, I'm broke.
Today is sooo blue and gloomy. It's cloudy, raining, cold, and I had to wait for over three hours while those guys fixing my car. I told them I would pick my car up by noon but they finish it at four! I had to skip six and half hours of my work, which equal to $45.50 worth of my paycheck. hmmm... what a day!

These days, I want some 'revolutionary' change in my daily life. Sometimes, I want to move to Texas, California, Colorado, or at least Chicago...

Everybody in St. Louis is in 'world series' fever for St. Louis Cardinals entering (again) world series vs Detroit Tigers.
I'm just happy for them.
I'm not a Cub fan (even though I have TWO Cubs hat, doing nothing in my closet) or White Sox fan.
Im just not that interested on Baseball.

I'm more into soccer and american football.
Go Chicago BEARS!!

Good luck for Cardinals, and Best luck for BEARS!! I hope this year Chicago Bears can win the Superbowl.

Id Mubarak everybody!! Selamat lebaran.. Selamat Idul Fitri.. mohon ma'af lahir dan batin.. Semoga setelah digembleng menahan napsu selama sebulan, kita berhasil menjadi makhluk yang lebih baik, kembali bersih ke fitrah kita. Amiiiin...

Aniway..
pagi pagi bangun kesiangan buat sholat id. jadwal sholat idnya jam 8:15, bangun jam 8:16 nah kan!

After that..
yah.. musti kerja di mall. yah.. gak bisa kayak taun2 sebelumnya, eat lunch ama temen2, skip school, skip work just for one day and spend it with people I love and try to enjoy the day and not worry about anything else.

So, I went through my phone book and nelponin semua temen2 yang bisa aku telpon.
alhamdulillah temen2 lama yang udah lama gak kontak bisa ngobrol lagi dan bisa 'in touch' lagi.

A very nice day...

Weekend:

Yippiii!!! Finally I got to see this 2 years old playa - Jibran (hehehe) after about four weeks I haven't see him. :) He is so cute. I won't play much with him when he is around, but just watching him running around and doing whatever he is doing make me happy. :)

We made a lot of progress on Indonesian night preparation. I got to learn how to 'dance' and 'fight' Dayaks' style. Then, thanks God I found a bunch of good friends who is willing to perform pencak silat with me. Im proud of them because it just need a few practice and they are already beyond my expectation. With few extra practices and 'touch'es, we're ready to shake the stage!!! :)

Soccer, it was a cold evening but we played anyway. It was fun even though my team was lost. Nothing much to say about the game because I don't want to make excuses for the lost but bottom line, it was fun.

Monday Night Football, one of the best. It was an amazing game between Bears and Cardinals. When I arrived at Reza's, it was already late in the third quarter and Bears was down by 23-3. Everybody made fun of me and my Bears, but then Bears got three defensive touchdowns and they won the game 24-23. What an awesome and thrilling game!!

some funny/interesting facts:

1.There was a fox running around the field while we're playing soccer. I think she was interested in Doddy's bag (may be some food in it??). Some friends suggested to catch the fox and have a little barbeque party after the game. :)

2. There were two American (one caucasian and one afro) that want to join our pencak silat crew. They seem so eager to join us, but when we explained them that this is for indonesian night show, then one of them understand and leave. Another one somewhat 'insist' wanted to join, even though we told him that we don't have enough uniforms to accomodate the number of people. Plus it would be too crowded in the stage.

I regret to tell them that. May be I should've let them join for the practice only. If they show interest to learn, why should I keep it from them?!

45 minutes before iftaar (iftaar: time to break our fast during holy month of Ramadan).
Ahmed (a friend of mine who is working in silver lining store) and I were discussing what to eat for iftaar. so we're sit down with paper, menu (which I printed from internet), yellow book, and a phone. so the discussion begins:
(Anggit)"I want the catfish for sure"
(Ahmed) "Okay. there are two kinds: steak and fillet, which one you want?"
(Anggit)"hmm.. I don't know the different, we can call them to see the different"

Ahmed call the 'florissant fish and chicken' restaurant
....

(Ahmed) "Okay, I think fillet is better because there is no bone."
(Anggit)"Alright"
(Ahmed)"I want shrimp too"
(Anggit)"Man, shrimp is usual, let's just get some other fishes"
(Ahmed)"No,I want shrimp".
(Anggit)"Okay then...! Btw I want Okra and perch too"
(Ahmed) "What's a perch?"
(Anggit) "Oh.. I think it's fresh water fish. Let's go online and see how it looks"

Anggit is looking up at google image to see the perch images

(Ahmed) "hey, they have buffalo fish and jack salmon too, check it online too"

Anggit is looking up at google image to see the bufallo fish and jack salmon.

(Ahmed) "Okay, I want the salmon for sure"
(Anggit) "I'll take the perch".

Comment: hmm.. what a decision making process.

Last week, I got this call from Aerotek to work for their client, a company call Hussmann to be a contract engineer. The guy from Aerotek, Eric, told me that he would call me when there is an opening. Till today, he didn't call yet. I am hoping sometime this week.
My ex-roomate, Mohamed, was also work for Aerotek before he was hired by UPS last year.
He told me that the job was in the field (what we study in school), doing time study, data processing, optimization process etc. so it will be good in the resume.
God, I can't wait!

Homecoming dance was nice. I didn't expect to be that fun.
First, I didn't feel like going, but after some people asked me to go then I decided to go. :)
so I told them, "I come to the party for the free food and for the company. Just want to hangout with you guys. No Dancing!"
Hahaha.. It turned out to be different. The dancing was fun too hahaha.. the food was okay (I wasn't full, need more!) and the company was excellent.

Funny, because I told Doddy and Budi that I will be with them in the table while everybody dancing in the floor. Doddy said "ah, dasar loe, bilangnya mo nemenin gue ngobrol di meja n gak dancing, eh.. malah dancing mulu!" hahaha..

Other nice things,
Couple days before the homecoming dance, eight UMSL japanese girls were having dinner and birthday party at Seki's Restaurant and I was their waiter.
so, when they saw me in the homecoming dance, they're surprised.
Even more surprised when I could tell each of them what food they eat the night they eat at Seki's. :)
